Laurie R. Chane

Laurie ChaneLaurie R. Chane is a Florida native and a graduate of the University of South Florida (1985 B.A. in International Studies).  She earned her J.D. from the law school at the University of Miami in 1989.  She was admitted to the bar in Florida in 1990, the United States District Court of the Middle District of Florida in 1990, the United States District Court of Appeal for the Eleventh Circuit in 1990, and the United States Supreme Court in 1993.  

Ms. Chane established the Chane & Eble, P.A., family and criminal defense law firm in Pasco County with Mr. Eble in 1997.  She fights tirelessly each day for the rights of her clients and is known for her aggressive representation with her clients in Pasco County criminal, family and divorce cases.

Ms. Chane is married and has two children.  She enjoys practicing law in the company of her beloved dog, which is often in the office with her.

William K. Eble, Sr.

William K. Eble, Senior

William K. Eble, Sr. graduated with a B.A. from the University of Notre Dame in 1976 and a J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law in 1979.  He was admitted to the bar in Florida in 1980.

He worked for the U.S. Small Business Administration in New Jersey, and then joined the Public Defender Office for the Sixth Judicial Circuit, State of Florida in September, 1981.

Mr. Eble soon became a lead criminal defense attorney in East Pasco County, representing indigent defendants accused of the most serious offenses.  During his service as a public defender, he represented thousands of citizens accused of crimes ranging from misdemeanors to the most serious felony cases.  He was the lead or supervising Pasco County criminal defense attorney in more than 100 jury trials including drug trafficking, sexual battery, attempted murder, and murder cases.  He represented more than a dozen men and women charged with first-degree murder in cases where the State sought the death penalty.

In 1997, Mr. Eble established the Chane & Eble, P.A., family and criminal defense law firm with Laurie R. Chane.  In addition to defending adults and juveniles accused of crimes, he also represents clients in family law cases, and some select serious personal injury and wrongful death cases.

Mr. Eble is also committed to supporting and participating in youth athletic programs, and he has coached baseball and softball youth teams at Dade City Little League, and coached and volunteered for the non-profit East Pasco Youth Soccer League, Inc.

William K. Eble, Sr. and his wife, Patricia, a native of Pasco County, are parents of five and grandparents of four.
